Very Naughty, Marshmallow Treats

What a GREAT weekend!

I went through my fridge, getting ready for next week's cooks and decided to whip up these guys.

Those Vegan marshmallows were scream'n to be treats! We used animal cookie cutters.

(No animals were harmed in the making of these treats.)

G-Free, Vegan Marshmallow Treats

Ingredients

~1 cup g-free rice cereal (mine were chocolate of course)
~1 tbsp Earth Balance butter
~5 Vegan marshmallows

Instructions

~Put all ingredients in bowl. Microwave for 25 seconds. Stir until marshmallows are mixed well (their kinda tough). Microwave 15 seconds. Stir. (I rarely use the microwave but it's just so quick and clean, I let myself slide.)

THAT'S IT! Now just put them in a pan or use cookie cutters, whatever makes you happy.

It makes a small batch. Just double everything to make a family size serving.

I rolled these Bad Boys up into wads and rolls to freeze for later.

Audubon Zoo. We went to the New Orleans Zoo.
I enjoyed taking pictures of the animals. Though the monkey gave me trouble.

Today's Shout Out goes to this little guy...I know exactly how he feels.
(Some of the Animals were rescued and couldn't be put back in the wild. I wish all zoo's were used for rescued animals.)

I made almond butter and jelly sandwiches for my hubby and Kya. Looks like someone else wanted a taste.

Today is the last day of my fast/detox. I feel a whole lot better than I did at the beginning of the week. I'll be adding more solid foods to my diet this week...Soups, fruits, and veggies.

What's your favorite animal? I love anything that can be cuddled. (I guess that would leave out the monkey.)

Final and most important topic for today...Please Follow me!!! LOL! Being the HUGE nerd that I am, I hid my "follow" link. Now that its out in the open for all to see, can you please click on it. :-) Yes, I'm pretty much asking for friends here...very nerdy...but I'm looking for more blogs to follow too, so hit me up!

  1. I wish I could find Vegan marshmallows here.

I love sea turtles and polar bears. I do not like Zoos though.

And thanks for the comment in my blog, let me know if you do the "cheese" cake :)
